Looking for a roof rack for an Odyssey. I prefer not going to the dealership if there are alternative suppliers/sources. Nothing on Kijiji. Any recommendations?

Odd that everything listed on that site is more than what Honda is charging (under $600). Clearly I don't know the first thing about roof racks/rails/cross-bars

They are very expensive.

Your Odyssey already has rack bars, you just need cross members IIRC so basically should be way cheaper than buying a complete system. I have one yakima cross bar laying around that might fit your car, you can have it for free, just might need to buy the second one.

What do you want to carry, bikes, box?

My Odyssey doesn't have either the rails or the cross bars.

Truth be told the Odyssey meets pretty much all of my transporting needs (when interior seats are removed) without storing anything on the roof. However I'm looking at the possibility of planning a road trip in which case extra storage may be required for luggage, at which point I guess I'll need something like this as well

Depending on when your trip is I can lend you my box.

Surprised your van doesn't have oem rack bars...post a pic I always thought it was oem on most SUVs/vans/wagons

Never mind looks like the odyssey doesn't have it stock, you are in for a treat price wise lol

I bought my Yakima rack on kijiji for 50 bucks. If you wait you can get a deal (I bought it off season)

rackattack, you might as well bend over with no lube. A few years ago when the dollar was closer to par, bought thule force XL for wife's countryman for $369 USD shipped to mailbox. Same box was over $700 here from rackattack. I picked it up along
Previously, I bought a 21cu.ft Thule Atlantis from the US used it for a road trip, and then sold it here and made a profit.
