Home invasion was random: police
Police Surveillance Video
A 24-year-old Toronto-area woman has been charged with murder in the home invasion death of her mother.
Bieh Ha Pan, 53, was shot and killed and her 57-year-old husband was seriously injured in the home invasion on Helen Avenue in Markham on November 8.
Their 24-year-old daughter, Jennifer Pan, was not injured in the attack.
Court documents show Jennifer Pan has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her mother.
A Newmarket court official says Pan is to appear for a bail hearing today.
York Regional Police were to hold a media conference this afternoon.
Investigators had issued a description of a car they said might be related to the crime but later ruled it out when the owner came forward

didn't the father survive the attack and witness something ?. They did report 3 guys with dark complexions as being the culprits when it first happened. Maybe the daughter arranged to have 3 accomplices do the fake home invasion.

I believe I read an article this morning that said that they're still looking for 3 BGs. Looks like she hired people to do the hit. The article also said that she's unemployed with no marketable skills. She was pretty much useless and mooching off her parents and began to resent them. What a useless waste of a human being.

She hung around with the wrong crowd. If she hung around Hong Kong fob girls, they would have showed her the way to date Asian dudes with money. Only skills needed is to spread them. lol
