We want some rooms painted in the house and with the little one it's come to the point where we just don't want/can't do it ourselves anymore. We're also impatient because finding time right now is a nightmare and we really want to wrap up a bunch of little projects instead of living through them any longer.
With that said we were looking at getting quotes for living room, main hall and upstairs hall. Nothing crazy it's a small house. Anyone know the going rate what painters charge to do this if we supply the paint? It would also be easy because baseboard would be removed and all window trim in the living room.
Chinamen in Mackham did a buddy's townhome (1800 sq ft?) for about $1750 + paint. Did it over 2 days I think. House was empty of furniture/people though.
I'm actually thinking of doing all this myself to my home
Currently have the ghetto starter paint on the walls, and the smudges and scuffs are starting to bug the fuck outta me.
Biggest headache would be how to do the walls along the staircase (15' high? Something like that) And the usual drop cloths, taping, moving furniture, etc.

That's a good price for the entire town home. Was it good? like properly prepped any everything? Clean lines?
when i bought my house there was a week between when i closed and when i had to be out of the condo. i didn't have time with work and kid to paint the place so i paid this jew guy to paint the entire house, well main floor and upstairs including all the bathrooms for $1500. also i wanted a mint job, no paint splatters and clean taping lines and all that. he did a good job but he kept calling me back asking me for more work, i was thinking about having him do the trim but he wanted like another$1000. eff that.
