As much as I'd love to see Raptor games, I just can't justify the price. Just got 2 tickets for my son and I for a River Lions game at the new Meridian Centre here for less than $40 that are practically courtside \:D Yeah it's not NBA, but it's still basketball. So for what it'd cost me for a Raptors game I could take him to multiple games here and he'd still love it.

Lol yeah apparently. My son told me about it when we saw the River Lions mascot at the Pen Centre lol.

Apparently it's actually really good basketball too. Really entertaining.

Seriously though, I've been wanting to catch a Raptor 905 game to see if it really lives up to the hype. If my nephew enjoys next week then I may take him to one or two of the D-League games.

Quiet you!

My son absolutely loved the Raps game I took him to. I loved the games I've been to as well. But I can't justify paying those ticket prices, having to drive there and pay for parking etc.. Just not worth it if my son will have just as much fun at a local game.

I went to an NBL game in London and enjoyed it. I'm thinking about taking my son to a Raptors905 game but am not sure if he will enjoy it. He's not really into sports. He's looking forward to Monster Jam this weekend. Wonder if we will be the only Asian people there. Lol.

Honestly, I wasn't sure if my son would like it when I took him. I have never seen that kid get so into something in his life lol. Doing all the chants/wave screaming and yelling at the action on the court haha. Now he's all about seeing basketball games.

just checked T.O all star game tix. sold out day one on the main site as expected. resellers asking minimum $700 for the game day tix...up to 5k, 8k and even more. WTF. thanks society. assholes. would love to go.

I have been to two 905 games. Just don't have expectation because it is not the same as a real NBA game, a lot of sloppy plays, street ball style basketball and players made so many mistakes (well kinda reason why they are there to learn not to make those mistake in NBA)

How is the atmosphere at the 905 games? Is there a lot of noise and activity? The Raptor can be quite entertaining, especially for the kids.

The arena is quite small. I went to the Season Inaugural, that game was sold out and pretty good atmosphere. The 2nd game I went to was against the LA Defenders on December 30. The arena was 60-70% sold out so it was definitely not as loud. But the fans was still great cheering for the team throughout the game. There was the Sauga Dance Pak, yes they called their cheerleaders squad, the Sauga Dance Pak LMAO. The cheerleaders threw freebies to the stand from time to time during timeout (small towels and T-shirt)

For the admission (paid less than $20 per ticket) and free parking, I can't really complaining. Leaving the parking lot at the end of the game was hell as there are very little exits to the main roads, prepare to wait or park across the street for less wait

I've been to some lightning games here, I think its good! Its like college level of play, I thought, but I still had lots of fun. I love basketball. \:\)

So we went to the game last night, and I must say it was pretty good. Obviously not on Raptors level, but it was really fun. Especially for the ticket prices. My son absolutely loved it there, and we were 15-20 feet from the court.

I will definitely say that the cheerleaders and not even on the same planet as the Raptors girls lol. But they try lol.

All in all it was worth the money and we're definitely going again.
