Agreed but less likely (much less likely)
I've created 3 apps for Apple through work and to get them on the marketplace it goes through a evaluation process and review which takes a few weeks. For android it pretty much just goes up.

this is mostly happening on my land line; but my rule is if i pick up and within 3 seconds, no one is talking on the other side, i just hang up before they have a chance to get me.

OP, is your phone number 416 710 XXXX?
i find these scammers mask the number to something like yours, because when they call my work, it shows up as 905 804 xxxx, when they call my cell it's 416 728 xxxx
i get these a lot too 416-508-xxxx. my number is 416-508,
so annoyting. keep adding them to the block list but new ones keep popping up.
