Might have a job opportunity there and would have to relocate. I was there today for my 2nd interview and I wasn't too pleased with what I saw. For people who have been there or live there, what can you tell me about the area? Worth moving to or am I gonna be bored 24/7?

In PA you have to get used to travelling a little to have some fun. York is a an old mining/industrial city but is close to Baltimore (30 mins), DC about (1.5 hours), Lancaster (15 mins), Harrisburg (30 mins) and Gettysburg (15 mins).

I moved here from NJ/NYC area and you can always find things to do.

York is not that bad. There is plenty of stuff to do. Downtown is starting to get built up pretty well. there are lots of bars and stuff. Harrisburg has a bad a** mall. Hershey park isnt far. nice quiet living. you will like it, unless you are looking for a strip club, none to be found.

Cost of living is also very cheap. You can save alot of money and purchase a nice house with a good job.
